On 27 May, the Cyprus Forum, in partnership with the European University Institute and Łukasiewicz – ITECH, hosted the third EUSI Policy Dialogue in Nicosia.
The event brought together policymakers, experts, and stakeholders to discuss some of the most pressing challenges facing Europe’s security landscape.
Discussions focused on strategies to counter hybrid threats, recent developments within the European defence industry — including the implementation of SAFE — and the differing threat perceptions across EU member states and their implications for European security and defence cooperation.
We were honoured to welcome an outstanding group of speakers, including Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski; Cyprus Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas; and Federica Mogherini, Former High Representative/Vice-President of the European Commission.
The dialogue underscored the growing importance of strengthening European cooperation, resilience, and strategic coordination in an increasingly complex and evolving security environment.
