Nicolas Kyriakides talking to Politis Radio about this year’s World Economic Forum in Davos.
Nicolas Kyriakides, Executive President of the Cyprus Forum, shares insights from the World Economic Forum in Davos on “Defteri Matia” on “Politis 107.6 & 97.6” with Yiannis Seitanidis.
In his interview, he noted the strong international presence at this year’s Forum, including increased participation from the United States, as well as the parallel events taking place, such as the Davos Lodge, which maintains a strong Greek presence.
Kyriakides explained that this year’s World Economic Forum, held under the theme “Spirit of Dialogue,” highlights the importance of open discussion on key global and regional challenges. He emphasised the need for Cyprus to maintain a visible presence at such international platforms, noting the absence of official Cypriot representation in recent years.
He also discussed the upcoming panel he will be moderating on the Eastern Mediterranean, focusing on regional stability, geopolitical developments, and the evolving role of Greece and Cyprus, while underlining that despite shifting global priorities, the Eastern Mediterranean remains high on the international agenda.
