Nicolas Kyriakides, Executive President of the Cyprus Forum, shares insights on “Show me the Money” on “Politis 107.6 & 97.6”, with Yiannis Seitanidis and Giorgos Georgiou, discussing the Cyprus Forum Brussels: Presidency Edition and his participation at the ANANTA Forum in New Delhi.
In his brief interview, he described the Presidency-focused Cyprus Forum in Brussels as a necessary step, given that many decisions affecting Cyprus are shaped at the European level. The full-day event gathered Cypriot officials, EU representatives, think tanks, and international organisations to discuss competitiveness, health, education and digital transformation, and EU enlargement. He noted the continued interest of Montenegro and Ukraine in joining the European Union, stressing that enlargement remains a strategic opportunity despite growing scepticism across parts of Europe.
Kyriakides also referred to his participation at the ANANTA Forum in India, where EU–Indo-Pacific relations were at the forefront. He underlined Cyprus’s positive approach towards strengthening EU–India cooperation, describing India as a democratic partner with long-standing ties to Cyprus and a key player in the evolving geopolitical landscape.
