Cyprus Forum’s Continued Contribution to the Balkan Economic Forum
Cyprus Forum is proud to have contributed to the establishment of the Balkan Economic Forum (BEF) and to continue supporting its mission as a regional platform bringing together economic leaders, academics and policymakers from across Southeast Europe. Our Executive President, Dr. Nicolas Kyriakides, also serves on the BEF Scientific Committee, helping guide the forum’s research agenda and ensuring high-quality, policy-relevant outputs.
The 2025 edition of BEF took place on 31 October in Belgrade, Serbia, convening experts to discuss regional value-chains, digitalisation, the green transition and inclusive economic growth. The event offered an important space for dialogue on strengthening cooperation and advancing shared regional priorities.
Following the event, BEF has released a summary of the main insights and outcomes. This resource provides an overview of the discussions and highlights emerging policy directions across the region.
